Jacqueline Goring – Harpist

Jacqueline Goring started her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music and graduated with a Bachelor of Music Honours from the University of Western Ontario. Over the years she has appeared as a soloist with orchestras and choirs such the Toronto Philharmonia, Huntsville Festival, Cantores Celestes, Orpheus Choir and Hamilton Children’s Chorus.

Her orchestra career includes playing with Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, Hamilton Philharmonic and Orchestra London and she held the position of principal harp with Toronto Philharmonia for 10 years. She also played in the pit for musicals such as Anne of Green Gables, Phantom of the Opera and The Wizard of Oz. Ms Goring enjoyed playing in the back up orchestras for a variety of artists such as Roger Daltrey, Aretha Franklin, Diana Krall and Basia Bulat. Recordings include flute and harp with Christopher Lee, harp and choir with Cantores Celestes  and multiple collaborations on the Solitude label.
