The music of the nine choral vignettes represent a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from lyric tonal melodies to the syncopated energy of jazz.
Dr. James Wright captured the atmosphere of each painting in his compositions, highlighting their uniqueness by uniting the poetry with distinct soundscapes.
Originally commissioned by the Kanata Children’s Chorus, the music is scored for treble voices with piano.
