A Gallery of Song – Spirit of the Land evolved from the desire to bring young people into contact with the incredible legacy of images, rich in Canadian identity, left to us by the Group of Seven plus Thomson and Carr.
The power of those images evoked a creative process, resulting in a rare blend of visual art, poetry and music that celebrates our land, artistic and visionary responses to its spirit, and our living in it.
