Award winning baritone, voice teacher, and guest clinician, Dr. Bradley Christensen enjoys a busy multi-faceted career in the arts and has continued to earn praise for his “most well-rounded instrument … focused, rich, and sympathetically communicative” (Natasha Gauthier, Ottawa Citizen). On both concert and operatic stages, Bradley has sung as a soloist with companies across North America and his native New Zealand, including the Toronto Operetta Theatre, Opera Atelier, Ottawa Choral Society, Opera North, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco, the Auckland Choral Society, Opera on the Avalon and the Canadian Opera Company.
Bradley is the holder of four degrees: a BMus (Hons) in Vocal Performance and a BA in Italian, both from the University of Auckland, and a MMus and a DMA in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Toronto. Bradley was the recipient of the Faculty of Music Vocal Performance and Pedagogy Graduate Award. In 2016, he was invited by The Royal Conservatory of Toronto to hold one of seven positions in its prestigious Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program.
