Mozart: Requiem

Saturday, March 6, 2027, 7:30pm
Christ First United Church, Mississauga

Few works in classical music carry the mystery, power, and emotional depth of Requiem in D minor. Left unfinished at Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s death and shrouded in legend ever since, the Requiem remains one of the most profound and moving choral masterpieces ever written. From the thunderous urgency of the Dies Irae to the sublime tenderness of the Lacrimosa, this extraordinary work explores grief, hope, and transcendence with unmatched intensity.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as voices and orchestra bring to life one of music’s most enduring monuments to the human spirit.

Vivaldi: Voice of the Baroque

Saturday, April 17, 2027, 7:30pm
Christ First United Church, Mississauga

Experience the brilliance of Antonio Vivaldi in a concert celebrating one of the Baroque era’s most vibrant musical voices. At the heart of the program is his beloved Gloria (RV 589)—a radiant masterpiece of joy, drama, and devotion that has become one of the defining choral works of the period. The program also features the rarely heard Dixit Dominus (RV 595), known as the “di Praga,” offering a striking glimpse into Vivaldi’s bold and expressive sacred style.

From exuberant choruses to moments of profound reflection, this evening invites audiences into the colour, energy, and spiritual depth of the Baroque.
